摘要：Members of the Shizuoka Basic Health Science Library Network and Okinawa Medical Library Association held a joint meeting at Okinawa Chubu Hospital on June 19, 1998. The focus of our discussion was the Network of hospital libraries in Okinawa, particularly the need to expand the network. The Okinawa Medical Library Association concluded that the first step toward increasing their network was compiling a regulatory manual of the Association. There are many hospital library networks in Japan, but there is no coordinating organization. Therefore, we must hold a joint meeting of hospital libraries, promote mutual cooperation, and try to improve the quality of hospital libraries.
