摘要：Reference books in the Jikei University School of Medicine Library have recently rearranged according to their forms and subjects. This effort aimed at more efficient use of reference books for library clients by making those books more retrievable than the call number arrangement previously done in the Library. After several discussions and considerations among the special project team of the Library, we decided reference book collection into eleven categories; bibliographies, general dictionaries, medical dictionaries and terminologies, classification codes of diseases, dispensatories and other handbooks of drugs, directories of persons, directories of associations and institutions, … And then, categorized books were identified by color labels affixed to those books.
