摘要：A gas chromatographic method for the determination of trace amounts of formaldehyde in commercial clothing as its 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazone is described. For the quantitative formation of formaldehyde 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazone, concentrations of hydrochloric acid and 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazone were examined, and dichloromethane was chosen as the best extracting solvent. The recovery of the overall performance of this method was more than 95%, and the detection limit was 1 ppm. The present method was successfully applied to the analysis of a trace amount of formaldehyde in commercial clothing, not detected by conventional methods such as the acetylacetone method.
