摘要：Colorimetric determination of bromvalerylurea in mixed pharmaceutical preparations was examined. Bromvalerylurea reacts with acetylacetone and p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde at 70° to give a green color having an absorption maximum at 595 nm. Presence of caffeine, sulpyrine, and thiamine interfered with this determination, but they could be eliminated by fractional extraction.
