摘要：Using an ordinary apparatus of Fresenius von Babo shown in Fig. 1, some amount of chlorine leaks out of the glass tube. In the experiment with an apparatus shown in in Fig. 2, a great quantity of city water should be spent. So the apparatus in Fig. 3 is preferable ; the Na2S2O3 solution in the Erlenmeyer flask absorbs chlorine and the glass tube B leads air into the flask automatically in case of minor pressure.
