摘要：We propose an educational broadcast service that supports not only passive learning by simply watching broadcast programs but also active learning in which students search for and collect programs for their own purposes, such as making presentations, and exchanging opinions. To achieve this new broadcast educational service, we have constructed an education support system that enables users to search multimedia databases using agent technology. The system assumes its users to be elementary and junior high school students and supports theme-based “investigative learning.” This paper describes the features of this system and presents a system overview.
