  • 摘要:Several kinds of phthalate esters and bisphenol A are assigned as suspect endocrine disruptors (EDs). These chemicals are often used as raw materials or additives of plastic products manufactured for babies and infants who are more sensitive to EDs. The migration of 8 kinds of phthalate esters and bisphenol A from commercial plastic products to water were investigated. Plastic products including 12 kinds of daily necessaries and 30 kinds of toys were cut into squares with sides of approximately 1cm. The fragments (20g) and purified water (100mL) were put into a flask and shaken for 2hrs at 40°C. The concentration of phthalate esters and bisphenol A were measured by hexane extraction-CC/MS method. X-ray microanalysis was also carried out in order to confirm whether the plastic products contained chlorine or not. No migration of these chemicals to water from 21 kinds of plastic products was detected, all of which were generally held in the mouth. But three kinds of phthalate esters migrated from 14 kinds of products which contained chlorine. The concentration of migrated di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) was in the range of 0.074 to 210mg/L. Migration of bisphenol A were also detected from 10 kinds among these products. Even if the products are not originally intended to be held in the mouth, there is a probability of intake by babies and infants of these chemicals when the products are licked or chewed.
