摘要：The effects of lead exposure on blood pressure were studied using the date of health examinations for lead-exposed workers. The first study was based on the date of health examinations for a total of 56 male workers at a lead refinery and a solder factory in 1990, and the second study on the date for about 40 male workers in the lead refinery for 5 years from 1989 to 1991. In the first study, significant correlation was found between blood lead concentration and diastolic blood pressure with a Spearman rank correlation coefficient of 0.305 (P<0.05). Significant correlation was also found between blood lead concentration and urinary NAG activity with a Spearman rank correlation coefficient of 0.333 (P<0.05). In the second study, significant correlations were found between blood lead concentration and diastolic blood pressure with a correlation coefficent of 0.396 (P<0.01) in 1990 and between the cumulative amount of lead exposure (blood lead concentration×duration of exposure) and diastolic blood pressure with correlation coefficients of 0.367 (P<0.05) and 0.456 (P<0.01) in 1987 and 1990, respectively.
