摘要：Analyses of heavy metals in tangles are described. The levels of arsenic were found to be relatively high by silver diethyldithiocarbamate method. It should be noted, however, that arsenic as an inorganic form cannot be detected in all samples, suggesting that most or all of arsenic in tangles may exist as organometallic compounds (organic forms). Other heavy metals were determined by the atomic absorption method. The observed values of these elements are not supposed to be significantly high, based on the consideration of values for synthetic food dyes stipulated by the Food and Hygiene Law.
