摘要:A simple and rapid method for analyzing benzo (a) pyrene and coronene in airborne or diesel exhaust particulates was investigated. This method consists of the following 4 procedures: extraction (soxhlet) of tar from particulate samples with a solution of benzene and ethanol (80:20v/v), ultrasonic extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from tar samples with small portions of a solution of hexane and methylenechloride (65:35v/v), separation of PAHs into their components by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with a Zorbax ODC column, and identification and determination of PAHs (benzo (a) pyrene (BaP), coronene (COR)) by spectrophotometry. The calibration curves of BaP and COR were linear over the ranges of 0-800ng and 0-500ng, respectively. The minimum detectable amounts of BaP and COR were 1ng and 4ng, respectively. By this method, BaP and COR in airborne or diesel exhaust particulates can be routinely measured at a time.
