摘要:In order to study the transfer of lead from household articles to the human body, elution tests for lead were made on some materials by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The results obtained were as follows. 1, Small amounts of lead were found in the eluates from some painted glass articles and pottery bowles .2. In the eluates from glass cups, 0.18-1.37 ppm of lead were detected satisfing the regulation limit of 2.0 ppm. 3. Considerable difference of lead concentrations was found between coated and noncoated tin cans. 4. Almost no lead was detected from toys and stationeries except one flute containing 1.12 ppm of lead, under the condition of allowing the materials to stand for 30 minutes with occaisional stirring after adding 40°C water.
