摘要：The distribution of Campylobacter jejuni/coli strains in Osaka city was examined in both 1981 and 1982. The all stool samples of 852 children were checked. Campylobacter jejuni/coli strains were found as 25 % in 202 sporadic diarrheal cases at Pediatrics and often as healthy carriers in school children. These isolations were more in children of school age than infants. In the case of 1981, this bacteria were isolated from the case of three food poisoning outbreaks. In survey on carriers of this bacteria in various animals, chickins for food and chickin store, this bacteria were isolated from feces of eleven in 211 animals, and isolation rates were 43 % positive in chickins for food and 26 % positive in chickin store. Althogh this bacteria were not isolated from any water samples and soil ones in the rivers, it could be isolated from two samples in 50 water samples in the sewage disposal plant.
