  • 摘要:Few comparative studies have been reported on metal contents of food in various countries. In order to compare metal contents of food in Japan with those in Korea, contents of copper, iron, manganese, zinc and lead in several food stuffs collected in Japan and Korea were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Similar values were obtained in the metal contents of rice, potato, soybean, carrot, cucumber, orange, pear, two kinds of apples, seaweed and boiled egg between Japan and Korea. The value of manganese content of persimmon from Korea was more than that from Japan. Further study will be conducted to reveal the differences of metal contents of many kinds of food from various countries.
