摘要:A food intake survery was conducted over a three-day period and food preferences test was given to 120 lacto-ovo-vegetarians and 120 non-vegetarians 14 to 16 years of age. The following results were obtained: 1) The vegetarian group ate more cereals, potatoes, nuts and seeds, milk, pulses, vegetables, fruits, fungi and algae than the non-vegetarian group. 2) Preference for pulses, milk, vegetables and algae within the vegetarian group and meats and beverages within the non-vegetarian group, was greater than in the other group. SDA vegetarians have food preferences that differ with those of non-vegetarians.
