摘要:A food intake survery for running for three days was conducted and the Cornell Medical Index-Health Questionare papers (C. M. I.) were given to 120 lacto-ovo-vegetarians and 120 non-vegetarians who were 14 to 16 years old. The following results were obtained. 1) Each mean value of the nutrients consumed except for niacin met the requirments of dietary allowance for lacto-ovo-vegetarians. The energy calcium and iron intakes for non-vegetarians showed lower mean values compared with the values of the dietary allowance. 2) Height weight obesity and emaciation were not significantly different between the two groups. 3) As a result of C. M. I. the subjective sympotoms of alimentary system in lacto-ovo-vegetarian boys were significantly less compared with those of non vegetarian boys.
