摘要:The relation between atmospheric temperature and the dressing ratio of men's outerwear in an urban environment was investigated with the aim of clarifying the influence of environmental factors on men's clothing. A field survey was conducted at Jinbocho crossing located at Kanda-Jinbocho Chiyoda-ku in downtown Tokyo at 2 o'clock p.m. for a total of 21 weekdays in May, June and August of 1989. As a result, a good correlation between the dressing ratio of men's outerwear (=y, %) and atmospheric temper ature (=x, °C) was obtained as follows: y=-3.99x+143, r=-0.950 (n=21) The correlation equation shows that outerwear dressing ratio increases by about 4% for every 1°C drop in atmospheric temperature.
