摘要:Food construction regarding school lunches in Suita City was studied so as observe the changes occurring over a 12 year period. The following results were obtained. 1. Those foods that increased were rice, seeds, green and yellow vegetables, fruit (1976-1979), Fish and shellfish (1980-1983) and meats (1976-1979). Those items showing a decrease were sugar, fats and oils, seasonings (1976-1979) and eggs (1980-1983). 2. other vegetables and seasonings showed a large increase and cereals, rice, peas, fruit, fats and oils and eggs were consumed only to a limited extent in summer. Cereals rice, peas and fruit showed an increase, and other vegetables and seasonings were consumed very little in winter. Consumption of fish and shellfish showed a great decrease in autumn. 3. Meats showed a large increase from 1972 to 1979, and potatoes, peas, fruit, green and yellow vegetables fish and shellfish lacked in this investigation term, compared with the food construction standard.
