摘要:Effects of commuting time on the time patterns of girl college students (total: 1155 girl students), including the hour of rising and bedtime, were investigated in the summer and winter of 1978 (18 days), and in the summer of 1983 (9 days), and the following results were obtained 1) The commuting time both ways was classified into 3 groups: (A) less than two hours, (B) more than two hours and less than four hours, and (C) more than four hours. The sleeping time, physiological time and housekeeping time of students on Saturday and on the other weekdays were significantly shortened, as the commuting times increased. The investigation on the distribution of sleeping time disclosed that students having longer commuting times have shorter sleeping times. 2) (C) group got up earlier than the other groups, followed by (B) group and (A) group on Saturday and on the other weekdays. 3) No significant difference between the bedtimes of three groups on Saturday and on the other weekdays was not recognized.
