其他摘要:In this paper, I will examine the status of "shugei" (handicrafts) in women's art education in modern Japan, as well as addressing the concurrent problem of art and gender in the development of the modern discourse of handicrafts. The concept of "shugei" is key to understanding what differentiated the women's art education program from its male counterpart. "Shugei" became the axis through which social norms and the educational system were constructed. Based on this premise I will analyze women's art education and its pedagogy's research and development.
