摘要：本研究は,中学校美術科における写真を使った授業の実施率向上につながる要因を解明し,写真による映像メディアを活用した美術科学習活動の可能性の検討を目的とする。広島県の全中学校271校に勤務する美術科教師を対象として質問紙調査を実施し,広島県における写真を使った授業の実施率を含めた学校現場の環境を把握した。さらに,写真を使った授業を行っている教師と行っていない教師について,「学校現場における映像メディア機器の設備状況,及びその充実に関する意識」「教師の映像メディア機器の操作能力,及び学習指導への活用能力に関する意識」等の観点から得られたデータの比較分析を行った。その結果,写真を使った授業の実施率向上につながる要因には,「学校現場における設備環境の改善」と「研修等による教師の技能向上」が重要であることがわかった。
其他摘要：This paper aims to clarify the factors which give rise to improvement in the implementation process of lessons using photography in art education in the junior high school setting, and to examine the potential of art education via the utilisation of image media expression through photography itself. A questionnaire for art teachers was implemented at the 271 junior high schools in Hiroshima Prefecture, grasping the environment of schools and the percentage of lessons using photography. Comparative analysis of data on teachers using photograph in lessons and those not doing so was also carried out. In the final analysis, the factors which lead to improvement in the implementation process of art education through the use of photography can be laid squarely at the feet of "progressive infrastructural improvement in the schools" as well as "increased skills development workshops for art teachers."
