标题:The Influence of Job Satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior through the Mediation of Organizational Commitment (A Case Study in the Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali)

摘要:The purpose of this study to examine the influence of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) through the mediation of organizational commitment with the research subject of the employees of The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali. The hypotheses of this research are that : (1) job satisfaction has positive and significant influence on OCB; (2) job satisfaction has positive and significant influence on organizational commitment; (3) organizational commitment has positive and significant influence on OCB; and (4) organizational commitment mediates the relationship between job satisfaction on OCB. The design of this research is quantitative research with sample size of 88 persons which has been calculated based on Slovin’s formula and the determination of the sample size uses proportionate random sampling based on departments. The data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) method which resulted in the following findings that: (1) job satisfaction has positive and significant influence on OCB; (2) job satisfaction has positive and significant influence on organizational commitment; (3) organizational commitment has positive but not significant influence on OCB; (4) organizational commitment does not mediate the relationship between job satisfaction on OCB.
