摘要：O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar as comunidades de uma rede social online, focando diretamente no papel dos chamados moderadores, para conhecer e analisar o posicionamento desses sujeitos em relação ao uso das redes sociais no ensino/aprendizagem da Química. Para realização desta pesquisa optamos pela investigação qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso. Os resultados mostraram que prevalecem moderadores entusiastas que tentam fomentar as poucas discussões que aparecem nas comunidades relacionadas com a Química. Tais moderadores consideraram que as redes sociais online podem possibilitar uma maior interação no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, no entanto, também sugeriram que as redes sociais online não foram criadas para ser o lócus do conhecimento, ainda que possam proporcionar momentos de aprendizagem informal. The Social Network and its Possibilities of Interaction and Teaching: the vision of moderators Abstract : The objective of this work was to analyze the online social network communities, with focus in the moderators work, for to know and analyze the positioning of these subjects in relation to Chemistry Teaching and the use of social networks. In this research we opted for qualitative research, using the case study. The results showed the attempt of the community moderators to foster the few discussions that appear that relate to chemistry. The moderators considered that the social network may allow greater interaction in the teaching and learning process, however, they also suggested that the social network was not created to be the locus of knowledge, although it may provide moments of informal learning.
