  • 摘要:Digital media has reached a technical level that from an educational perspective opens up many opportunities for self-organized learning processes. With this in mind, how could learning in digitally supported professional development be linked to day to day actions at work? There is no lack of technical or didactic innovations. As the authors of this article explain, the challenge is to disseminate these innovations, adapt them to organizations via institutions that provide continuing education, embed them in day to day life on the job, enable continuing education instructors to use them competently and to reflect on them and their didactic role. The DiEDa project presented here investigates which challenges continuing education instructors and educational management see and label as such when implementing digitally supported professional development. The initial findings of the project are worthy of note and according to the authors indicate that the following steps are necessary: to develop a concept of media competence that includes the components of self-organized learning as well as to design an expanded didactic system that combines competent educational action with the special setting of learning with digital media.
