摘要：Concerning the control over the environment, the risk leads to a representation of spatial and temporal disorder. In the case of communication, the presence of risk draws attention to the capacity of journalism to contribute to the prevention of these situations. Thus, this work shows the results of a broader study on the theoretical model of Prevention Journalism (PJ). It is also discussed his presence in Spanish journalistic practice, tested by the analysis of content. Methodologically, this study analized more than 30,000 informational units corresponding to 406 samples of 12 daily Spanish newspapers. Among the main findings, this research allows to assert that the PJ is a trend still with little presence in daily newspapers.
