摘要：16 years of Brazilian qualitative methodologies with people with Intellectual Disability (ID) were reviewed as a mean to propose methodological advances about self production in narratives, taking into consideration criticism made by cultural researchers. The search was done in the main Brazilian academic index, Google Scholar and academic contacts, resulting in 20 studies. The results show innovative methodologies and inform on inclusive socialization conditions in Brazilian contemporaneity. To further the study of methodologies, we suggest Grounded Theory studies, as well as the inclusion of ID people in the analyses and studies of emotions.
