摘要：RESUMO O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar o núcleo central e os elementos periféricos das representações sociais de médicos, enfermeiros e cirurgiões-dentistas sobre aprender com apoio da internet. Na pesquisa, foi utilizada a técnica das evocações livres, fundamentada na abordagem estrutural. Identificou-se que a representação social dos sujeitos sobre a temática apresenta uma estrutura da qual participam elementos avaliados pelos próprios sujeitos positivamente e que estão interligados, observando-se uma coerência entre os elementos evocados. Os prováveis elementos que compõem o núcleo central identificados pelos termos “facilidade” e “praticidade” demonstram o caráter funcional e normativo da representação. A primeira e segunda periferias apresentam elementos que complementam e reforçam o possível núcleo central com termos ligados à cultura do fast food. A fim de reverter um possível uso reduzido das tecnologias, conclui-se que a inserção da temática sobre o uso da internet deve estar presente de forma transversalizada às disciplinas dos cursos de formação inicial e permanente dos profissionais de saúde.
其他摘要：ABSTRACT The purpose of this article is to present the central core and the peripheral elements of social representations of doctors, nurses and dentists about learning with support from the internet. In the survey we used the technique of free evocation based on the structural approach. We inferred that the social representation of the subjects on the theme presents a framework which brings together elements positively assessed by the subjects themselves, and that are interconnected, observing consistency between the evoked elements. The elements that likely make up the central core identified by the terms “ease” and “practicality” demonstrate the functional and regulatory nature of the representation. In order to reverse a possible reduced use of technology, it is concluded that the topic of Internet usage should be included across the spectrum of disciplines that form the courses for the initial and ongoing training of health professionals.
