摘要：RESUMO É descrita uma intoxicação em galináceos, da raça "Shaver", responsável pela morte de 139 aves (22,06%) de 5 meses de idade, de um total de 630 animais em uma granja do Município de Manaus, Amazonas. É o primeiro registro do problema na região amazônica. Espécies fúngicas dos gêneros Aspergillus, Penicillium e Trichoderma, foram obtidas a partir das aves necropsiadas e das rações administradas.
其他摘要：SUMMARY In this paper the authors describe the poisoning in poultry of the "SHAVER" breed, which caused the death of 139 five months old birds from a total of 630 units in a livestock in Manaus, Amazonas. This is the first description of the problem in the amazonian region. Cultures obtained from the rations and from necropsies made on the chickens revealed the presence of fungi belonging to the following genera: Aspergillus, Penicillium and Trichoderma.
