摘要：Neste artigo, investigamos a exposição dos rostos de pessoas comuns na televisão a partir de implicações estéticas e políticas relativas à inscrição do testemunho de sujeitos sofredores em narrativas televisivas. Partimos do reconhecimento das imagens televisivas em primeiro plano como formas expressivas capazes de produzir intimidade com o sujeito que sofre diante da câmera. Em seguida, à luz da chamada política da piedade, tomamos o primeiro plano como estratégia orientada pela instrumentalização do sofrimento alheio. Problematizamos, então, a coincidência entre a aparição dos rostos dos personagens e a tomada de sua palavra. Ao final, examinamos o vis-à-vis televisivo em sua propriedade de colocar os espectadores diante da singularidade e da ordinariedade de sujeitos sofredores. Como lugar de problematização, analisamos os programas A Liga (Rede Bandeirantes) e A verdade de cada um (National Geographic).
其他摘要：The article investigates the exhibition of the ordinary people's faces on television from aesthetic and political implications regarding the depiction of the witnessing of suffering subjects in narratives. It starts from the recognition of television images in the foreground as expressive forms capable of producing intimacy with the subject that suffers before the camera. Then it stands the close-up as a strategy-driven instrumentalization of the suffering of others, in the light of the so-called politics of pity. It reflects on the coincidence of the characters face's appearing and the account of its word. Finally, we examine the television vis-à-vis and the confrontation of the spectators with the uniqueness and ordinariness of suffering subjects. As a place of questioning, we analyzed the programs A Liga (Bandeirantes) and A verdade de cada um (National Geographic).
