摘要:We identify in normal cells the existence of two distinct sites of the transitional endoplasmic reticulum (ER), one housing the Sec23p protein complex (the classical transitional element), the other the coatomer protein complex (the coatomer-rich ER). Experimental conditions that reduce transport from the ER to the Golgi complex lead to the overexpression of this newly defined coatomer-rich ER.
