摘要：This paper introduces an approach to ‘meaning' from a viewpoint of Hallidayan lin- guistics, that is, systemic functional linguistics (SFL).It explains the basic idea of SFL, the comparison between Hallidayan and Chomskyan linguistics in terms of an approach to meaning, and the relation between SFL and Wittgenstein's philosophy.
