摘要:Observing the cultural practices and private investments made can result in discoveries of the social transformations that are linked to corporate culture policies. Through the analysis of the speeches produced by the Circuit of Praça da Liberdade in Belo Horizonte, this work sought to discuss how the public and the private are mixed in processes of public spaces concession made by the State; focusing on cultural spaces. Such discussion becomes pertinent in observing the interest of a collectivity being supplanted by private interests and capital. Data collection was performed through the qualitative approach and data analysis was performed from the French discourse analysis. It was verified the existence of discourses of exaltation of the space with the purpose of showing a social image committed with the public good and the presence of the marketing logic that the private activities meet the specific interests of profitability.
