摘要：O presente estudo procurou analisar a racionalidade na tomada de decisões de um grupo de estudantes, investigando a presença de vieses previstos pelas finanças comportamentais, em particular, relativos às heurísticas da ancoragem e da representatividade. Também foi investigada a ocorrência de vieses gerados pela teoria da contabilidade mental. Os resultados apresentaram indícios de algumas das referidas heurísticas e dos respectivos vieses na tomada de decisão por parte dos indivíduos, denotando dificuldades na avaliação subjetiva de probabilidades. O presente estudo não detectou evidências de que haveria diferença significativa, relativa às heurísticas e aos vieses quanto a características intrínsecas dos indivíduos, tais como gênero ou afinidades matemáticas. Dessa forma, não foi possível detectar um perfil de indivíduos menos propensos aos vieses apontados no corpo do presente trabalho. A TEST OF RATIONALITY OF INDIVIDUALS DECISION-MAKING: Research on the Presence of the Biases Expected by Behavioral Finance ABSTRACT The current study aimed to analyze the rationality on decision-making of a group of students, investigating the presence of bias provided by behavioral finance, in particular, relating to the heuristics of anchoring and representativeness. The occurrence of bias generated by the theory of mental accounting was also investigated. The results showed evidences of some of these heuristics and their biases on decision making by individuals, reflecting difficulties in the subjective evaluation of probabilities. This study found no evidence that there was significant difference on the heuristics and biases as the intrinsic characteristics of individuals, such as gender or mathematical affinities. Thus, it was not possible to detect a profile of individuals less likely to bias indicated in the body of this work.
