摘要：The Phoracantha semipunctata (Cerambycidae) is a wood-boring pest of the mostformidable of Eucalyptus stands. It is considered as a very invasive species. Itsproliferation has increased since the last decade. Nowadays it is an ecologicaldisaster longhorn. It causes dramatic damage in many parts of Morocco. Thisproblem requires special care to ensure the preservation of Eucalyptus plantations.The objective of our work is to conduct a study on the annual evaluation of imagosPhoracantha semipunctata in north-eastern Morocco for control purposes. After anoverview on Eucalyptus gomphocephala, the characteristics of the stations used inthis study as well as the sampling methods and statistics methods are presented.This study was conducted in two different regions, Saidia's coastal area in 2013and the green curtain Taourirt-Oujda in 2014 by trapping in natural conditionssupplemented by monitoring emergence of semi-natural environment imagos usinghatchers prepared at the laboratory. The experiments conducted in the field andinside the laboratory helped us to determine the Longhorn development cyclewhich is a monovoltine species in Saïdia and bivoltine in green curtain TaourirtOujda.
