  • 摘要:Ceramic powders of Yb doped Barium titanate (BaYbTiO3) of a perovskitestructure were prepared by the conventional solid state reaction route. Theresults of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) show that with increasing Ybrate, the sphericity of the grains increases while the average grain sizedecreases from from 1,7 m for BT to 0.56 m when the rate of Ytterbiumreaches 21%. Characterization by X energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS)confirms the incorporation of Yb in the barium titanate. The relationshipbetween the dielectric properties and percentage of Yb in BT for differentfrequency measurements has been studied.
