摘要：Agricultural economics research has changed over my career. Articles have gotten longer, withmore equations, tables, and figures. We now use maximum likelihood almost as much as leastsquares. I use this talk as an opportunity to discuss the strengths of our research as well asareas where we could improve. I also make a few suggestions about directions of future appliedeconometric research.
