  • 标题:Use of Endophytic Fungi and Alternative Commercial Products to Promote the Growth and Yield of a Rice ( Oryza sativa ) Crop

    The effect of endophytic fungi and alternative commercial products on the growth and yield of rice was evaluated. The beneficial microorganisms evaluated were inoculated on rice seedlings 28 days after germination using the system of rice intensification (SRI) in an organic production system. The treatments evaluated were Bioprotection TR( Trichoderma asperellum ), Bioprotection PAE cfi ( Paecilomyces lilacinus ), Bioprotection AZV-C ( Azotobacter ), BioAct ( Paecilomyces lilacinus cepa 251), END 1 ( Trichoderma atroviride ) and a control. The variables evaluated for plant growth were height and diameter of the plant and number of tillers. There were significant differences detected in height between treatments with BioAct (103.4 cm) and the control (101.3 cm) giving the better results as compared to Bioprotection PAE cfi (93.7 cm). As for the diameter, significant differences were detected between END 1 (37.8 mm) and Bioprotection AZV‑C (37.4 mm), again as compared to Bioprotection PAE cfi (31.8 mm). Regarding to the production of tillers, there were no significant differences detected between treatments, however, END 1 with 9.4 tillers registered the highest values as compared to 7.8 tillers with Bioprotection PAE cfi. For productivity, the variables evaluated were total biomass and grain yield. There were no significant differences detected between treatments for total biomass; however, BioAct obtained the highest production of 6448 kg/ha. Grain yields ranged from 1967 kg/ha corresponding to Bioprotection PAE cfi up to 2389 kg/ha for END 1 and 2345 kg/ha for the control. However, for this variable of grain yield there were no significant differences detected between treatments.
