摘要:This paper presents some of the results of a project to strengthen the path of improvement in the Basic Education. The aim was to identify the functions teachers and directives perform in Telesecondary schools for a) Improving the skills of reading, writing and Mathematics, b) the minimal normality of school operation, c) reducing school backwardness and leaving of students, and d) developing a good school living. The study was quantitative and 67 observation sheets were applied in 29 schools. As a conclusion, the directive and teaching functions have important advances in the path of improvement; however, they require the strengthening of attitudes, skills, knowledge and decisions on behalf of the students of this educational level.
