摘要：The article accounts for the development of a research about the perception of safety and its effects in the chain of expenses in the families from Palmira, Colombia. The research describes the role that safety has played in decision-making processes regarding economy, commerce, etc., among the citizens of Palmira. Hence, it is intended to contribute to the discussion about the perception of safety, providing a comprehensive approach from people’s everyday practices, in order to generate collective interest around the potential of its enunciation, while displaying different nuances and contrasts about this experience.
