摘要：The current paper presents a moral perspective towards the practice of Health Education understood as the encouragement of individual and collective self-responsibility in the matters of health. It is proposed that this may be a chore in the ethical order which comprehends the maximization of the autonomy of subjects, which is explained in terms of reciprocal recognition in order to give a normative content to the self-responsibility term in order to achieve its functionality in the professional practice of the discipline.
