摘要：The main purpose of this article is to reveal both potentials and limitations of the early childhood policy in Chile at the local sphere. Approaching early childhood as a complex and multidimensional issue, this policy proposes, arising from its foundations, working in networks in all the country’s municipalities, combining a diversity of actors and institutions. A mixed methods quantitative-qualitative approach was used and applied over three years, successively covering three levels of the policy execution: national, regional and local. The main findings at the local level are described in this paper.
