摘要：The environmental protection is a concern at international level, because the current deterioration is jeopardizing the human species. The use of tools such as indicators, enabling monitoring of environmental behaviors that in turn contribute to decision-making is a current practice; however, the environmental information provided is complex and very large. In order to simplify and summarize this information, the synthetic indicators that are the aggregation of variables and/or environmental indicators to facilitate environmental decision are created. In this paper, it is analyzed how the process of environmental performance evaluation based on synthetic indicators have into account tangible, organizational and human activity aspects.
