摘要:The aim of this article is elucidate the role of curriculum specialists in the development and conformation of the field starting from their studies. The concept of curriculum specialist is addressed through various conceptual interpretations given as open, undetermined and transforming. Contributions to the field are described from an international perspective, continuing with the Mexican context from the seventies to the present. The text is organized into four sections: 1) Conceptual approaches to curriculum specialist term, 2) International Studies, 3) Curriculum specialists in México, and 4) Conclusions.
