摘要：We consider university extension as an object of study; therefore, as a feasible practice to be researched. We ask ourselves about the strategies that could be implemented so that the research is at the service of the extension, being this the way to specify the social function of the University. Above all, we are interested in researching what method could be the one to follow for doing university extension research. Thus, we consider that research could be thought of as a way of addressing the problems that arise in extension practices. Then, the reflections we will present here have to do with our professional career in research projects and with the teaching of Physical Education workshops with older adults.
