摘要：This arcle presents a robot for remote noninvasive medicalexaminaon. In parcular, this robot allows a doctorto carry out an interview, an observaon, an ausculta-on and an ultrasound examinaon, including echocardiography.The robot has been developed within the Re-MeDi (Remote Medical Diagnoscian) project funded bythe European Union’s Research and Innovaon 7th FrameworkProgramme. At the beginning of the arcle, weoutline selected results of the user’s evaluaon of the robotidea together with the requirements regarding therobot. Then the essenal system components are presentedand a selecon of them are discussed in detail. Subsequentlywe present the integrated system and discuss selectedtopics concerning the integraon. Finally, the documentis completed by a descripon of the users evaluaon process.
