摘要:The administration of feedback directed to the movement to obtain a correct execution and to improve the effectiveness of the technical skills is a common practice among the basketball coaches.Nevertheless, during the last decade its effectiveness and the interest of its application have been put into question in certain situations. Our objective is to compare the effectiveness of the mid-range shot in basketball players in two different situations: without instructions neither technical feedback (A) and with instructions and external feedback oriented to the movement (B).8 elite cadet players have participated in the study. The results show that the effectiveness (per days, series and shots) is greater in the situation A compared to the situation B (p < 0.05, p < 0.05 and p < 0.01, respectively). One concludes that a greater percentage of successes is obtained in the intervention based only on the result of the action than in the additionally guided by instructions and technical feedback. The obtained results question the effectiveness of the administration of technical feedback related to an ideal model of shooting.
