摘要:Quality Management in Sport is a leadership and management strategy used in all sectors including sports. It is used first in business, then in the public sector and to a lesser extent in associations. In the absence of an instrument to assess quality management in sports federations, a “Questionnaire for Assessing Quality Management in Sports Organisations” (EGCED in the Spanish initialism) was drawn up based on the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) model and tailored to regional federations. This paper sets out our analysis of its psychometric properties (reliability and quality of dimensions). The questionnaire was administered on two different occasions (test-retest) to a small group of sports federations, calculating the internal consistency index (Cronbach’s alpha) with data from the test-retest to verify its reliability.Likewise the quality of the dimensions was determined from the distribution of responses (mode and variance) and their discrimination index (correlation between item and item-total).The results show that it is a reliable measure (Cronbach’s α = 0.988-0.710) for learning about the quality of the management of regional sport federations and makes it possible to interpret it, identify strengths, intermediate points and weaknesses to be maintained or readjusted and put forward strategies to enhance the management of the organisation.
