摘要：This article describes research on the topic of the influence of skin diseases on fingerprint recognition, particularly the actual detection of fingerprint areas negatively influencedby skin diseases. It introduces a number of skin diseases, describes their influence on fingerprint images according to a diseased fingerprint database, explains methods used for the detection and finally presents results of this research.
