摘要:Workforce assignment becomes more complex when operators have multiple competencies and the operators efficiency changes according to the activities they are assigned to. In this context, only little work has considered the learning curve effect. In this paper, we will discuss a multi-period assignment problem, considering the versatility of the operators, which induces a dynamic view of their competencies and the need to predict changes in individual performance as a result of successive assignments. We are in a context where the expected durations and the awaited quality execution of activities are no longer deterministic, but results from the performance of the operators selected for their execution. In this article, we will present a mathematical model of this problem and a genetic algorithm approach to solve the workforce multi-period allocation problem.
