摘要：The aim of the investigation is studying of erythrocytes charge balance in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) of bronchitic and mixed types. The similar trend of change Δ pH of erythrocytes in patients with COPD was observed during the incubation of red blood cells in the range of 37-58 ˚C. The thermograms represented decreasing curve, Δ pH ranged from -0.326 to -0.453 (the average value was -0.383). During subsequent 20- minute incubation of erythrocyte suspension at 58 ˚C, two main types of thermal images, depending on the degree of respiratory failure were recorded. Possible mechanisms of the erythrocytes charge balance alterations in patients with COPD are discussed.
