摘要：The article expose the question of recognition of human dignity in the context of the eff orts of self-knowledge, self-assessment and self-affi rmation developed in the successive stages of Latin American ethical thinking. Struggles for survival to build coexistence, the contributions of the Latin American Ethic, Ethic of Liberation and the Latin American Intercultural Ethic construction and practice of ethical categories of meeting and project for a common life are analyzed.
